A projector from Planar is the PR3010, whose LED-DLP model delivers 2500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 290 cm. This model dates back to 2006 and is no longer part of Planar's current product range.

Favorable entry
With an average lamp life in ECO mode of 4000h, this is already a very affordable and durable projector for private users. The picture is good to very good and the operation is excellent. Another plus point is that it is manufactured in the EU (Finland). In this price segment, it really can only be recommended.
