Model Overview Designed for the Homecinema sector, the DT 510 model from Sharp features 1000 ANSI lumens, a native HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution and a contrast ratio of 4000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours.
To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes.
Looking at practical performance, up to 321 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 214 cm.
This model dates back to 2007 and is no longer part of Sharp's current product range.

5 Stars ++ Price - performance, good++
The projector has been hanging on my wall for a week and is replacing a Sanyo Z5.
Compared to the Sanyo, I was rewarded with a very good black level and vivid picture.
Some people may think, but the Sanyo has 10000:1 on/off and 1100 Ansi lumens and the Sharp only 4000:1 on/off and 1000 Ansi lumens.
All garbage, the Sharp is brighter, offers the better black level and has the better in-picture contrast.
The lack of lens shift is a little annoying during installation, especially as Sharp has previously equipped mid-range devices with it.
The Sharp is a little louder than the Z5, but still within the tolerable range.

If you don‘t have a problem with the RBE.... buy. :)

5 Stars Class projector
Not quite as sharp as Z3000, slightly louder compared to the LCDs but that‘s normal with Sharp. Like the Z3000, the zoom setting is not particularly large, but it doesn‘t really matter for a new installation.
This projector has a great picture and is also not too expensive.
