With the XV Z9000E, Sharp offers a LED-DLP projector that features 800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1100:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. According to Sharp, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 287 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 191 cm. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Sharp. However, it remains one of the frequently accessed models in our database.

I‘m simply amazed at such a sharp picture, I only bought the projector used a few weeks ago for €590 but haven‘t regretted it, I had previously bought a new one for €2500 which gave up the ghost after a short time, I‘m not allowed to say the brand here.

Dream of a picture
Hello.I connected my PC via a VGA cable (gold-plated pins).at a resolution of 1280 x 768, the Sharp produces a razor-sharp, high-contrast picture.the picture source was Youtube with a live concert by Slipknot "Live in Rio 2011" in HD 720p.I wouldn‘t have expected that...With a diagonal of approx. 2.60 m, I felt like I was there live in Rio...I agree with my previous reviewer Veit...Still one of the best projectors even though it‘s a few years old......

Unfortunately there are no digital connections. (HDMI/DVI)
So the best picture is possible via YUV or RGB. There are "HDFury solutions" HDMI to VGA: but they cost a lot of money.

Hello.I bought this Sharp at a good price & now have a question:I would like to connect it to my Bluray player Samsung BD-P 1850.this has an HDMI output as well as a component video output YUV RGB Chinch.which is the best possible.thank you for a helpful answer.

This projector..
..is and remains one of the best.
With my ISCO 2 and a filter in front of it, even darker scenes can be seen well at full *brightness*.
The big disadvantage remains the volume and the lack of digital inputs.
But even though I only have 702P, none of my viewers miss anything in terms of picture quality.
Pixels are not visible.
Playback is with an HTPC and projection is on a Davision Cadre No. 1 in 2.35:1 with black aluminum/velvet frame.
