Known as the M.REFERENCE, this 3D-DLP projector by SIM2 features basic specs of 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 at a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 30000 hours for the LED light source, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 352 cm can be illuminated with 1200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 235 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by SIM2.
