The projector SIM2xTV INV by SIM2 utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2900 ANSI lumens and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 50 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 2900 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 547 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 365 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of SIM2's current product range.
