Known as the Pro5501DP, this LED-DLP projector by Boxlight features basic specs of 5500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 646 cm can be illuminated with 5500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 431 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
