Behind the name XP 58z is a LCD projector by Boxlight, whose main features include 1800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Boxlight, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 369 cm can be illuminated with 1800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 246 cm. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Boxlight.
