The JVC DLA RS400 is a 3D-DILA projector that brings 1700 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution alongside a contrast of 60000:1. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Lens Shift Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 1700 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 419 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 279 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 20 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by JVC.
