Based on DILA technology, the JVC DLA RS46 projects images in a High-End Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 1300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 50000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 366 cm can be illuminated with 1300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 244 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 20 decibels. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of JVC's current product range.
