As a projector for the High-End Homecinema sector, the JVC DLA RS640 is equipped with 2000 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution and a contrast of 1600000:1. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 454 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 303 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 20 decibels. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of JVC's current product range.
