Based on DILA technology, the JVC DLA-VS2200ZG / G projects images in a High-End Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 850 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 18000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 296 cm can be illuminated with 850 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 197 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 20 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of JVC's current product range.
