This projector from SIM2 utilizes DLP technology, achieving 4000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 4000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. According to SIM2, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 429 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
