The VPL CW275 model from Sony combines LCD technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 5100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. According to Sony, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 726 cm can be illuminated with 5100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 484 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Sony.
