The projector VPL SW620C by Sony utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. According to Sony, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projection Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 518 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 345 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Sony. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
