Designed for the Short Distance sector, the TDP EX20 model from Toshiba features 2300 ANSI lumens, a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 138 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 418 cm can be illuminated with 2300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 279 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Toshiba.
