Categorized in the Micro-Portabel segment, the TDP P9 projector from Toshiba projects with a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution, alongside 2000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 389 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 259 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. This model dates back to 2007 and is no longer part of Toshiba's current product range. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.

Hello,
the device is good in and of itself. The picture is good, the volume is acceptable in normal mode and the setting options are also very good. Due to the compact size, the lamp probably reached the end of its service life at 300 hours due to heat build-up in my case. Regular cleaning of the ventilation parts (i.e. vacuuming from the outside) would probably improve this situation.
The replacement with a bare bulb (an Osram was originally installed) was relatively straightforward. However, small Phillips screwdrivers are needed, which should be magnetized beforehand.
With a steady hand, the replacement is done in 15 minutes.
After that, however, the lamp counter must be reset.
This works like this:
Plug out the mains plug, press the three buttons Input, Menu and On simultaneously and plug it back in. Unfortunately, this is not described in the instructions...

hello, colors, brilliance are good,ok! but the device itself gets very hot,fan very loud, but the biggest annoyance
is the very very short-lived lamp, treated the device according to regulations, only disconnected from the mains after
the fans were switched off and the device was silent!!!! the lamp only lasted 250 hours, but that‘s not all, because a new lamp is more expensive than a new projector (epson eb-s72, etc.) my advice, not only because of this matter, don‘t buy any toshiba devices, whether projector or tv, I haven‘t had any good experiences with them!
