The basic data of the Viewsonic LS830 includes 4500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 as well as a contrast of 10000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 15000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 10.3 years possible. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 50 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 4500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 682 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 455 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Viewsonic's current product range.
