Known as the PA502XP, this Laser-LCD projector by Viewsonic features basic specs of 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 22000:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 5000 hours for this projector's lamp – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 343 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Viewsonic.
