Designed for the Stationary sector, the X90 model from 3M features 4000 ANSI lumens, a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 551 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 367 cm. This model dates back to 2007 and is no longer part of 3M's current product range.
