The projector X46 by 3M operates as a LCD device with 4000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 2000:1. According to 3M, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 551 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 367 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (8W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
