As a projector, the 3M Super Close Projection System SCP712 combines DLP technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 2000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2100:1. According to 3M, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 389 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 259 cm. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
