The BR9708 is a 3D-LED-DLP projector by Benq, whose specifications list 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1200:1 and a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Regarding projection size, the value of 2600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 518 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 345 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background.
