Categorized in the Short Distance segment, the LH860ST projector from Benq projects with a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution, alongside 5000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 20000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 100 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 479 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection.
