A projector from Benq is the GP30, whose 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP model delivers 900 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 100000:1. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 305 cm can be illuminated with 900 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 203 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
