The technical data of the Benq MP624 includes 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 as well as a XGA 1024 x 768 display. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.

I bought the 624 for a classroom. It was connected and aligned within a few minutes. The image can be adjusted in color to the background and is sufficiently large at about 3.5 m to the wall and is absolutely sufficiently bright even in Eco Mode. The background noise is pleasant in Eco Mode and only slightly louder in Normal Mode. The image is sharp and rich in contrast. I am completely satisfied and can recommend the projector.
