Behind the name MX710 is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Benq, whose main features include 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5300:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Benq, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 2700 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 453 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 302 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
