Model Overview As a projector, the Mitsubishi HD1000U combines DLP technology with a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720, and is additionally specified with 1500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2500:1. According to Mitsubishi, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours.
Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle.
A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 393 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 262 cm.
This model dates back to 2006 and is no longer part of Mitsubishi's current product range.

5 Stars still the best you can get
I bought the projector a good 2.5 years ago and hung it under the ceiling, since then I have been using it regularly for movies and tv evenings.

in the meantime the lamp has 1700 hours on it and the picture is still really great.

when I look at the current devices I have to say that I wouldn‘t buy anything new.

thanks to the dlp technology, there are no color distortions after over 1500 hours of operation, as can occur with lcd beamers.

only the volume of the device has subjectively increased, but it has never been cleaned.

can recommend the device without reservation.

5 Stars Super
FINALLY, after two weeks of waiting it arrived. And what can I say - absolutely great! I had a test run at my trusted dealer. A direct comparison with the Optoma HD 70, the Panasonic PT AX100 and some other LCD I can‘t remember the name of. If you look at them individually, they are certainly all very good. But in direct comparison, the HD1000 is the best in my opinion. I wonder why it is (currently) only the 11th most popular projector. If you don‘t have a problem with RBE and give it the space it needs (due to the lack of lens shift, this is sometimes a challenge), I can recommend it to anyone. I have a 270 mm screen and almost need sunglasses, it‘s so bright - well, maybe a bit exaggerated, but there‘s some truth to it.

5 Stars Diva
Have had the HD 1000 for a week now and numerous comparisons. I‘m really happy with the picture. In my opinion, there is nothing better in this price range. The picture can easily compete with much more expensive projectors. I haven‘t noticed any RBE so far. But everyone has to check for themselves. Sharpness, contrast and colors are sensational. The device is also relatively quiet. The LCD projectors in this price range can‘t hold a candle to the HD 1000 in terms of picture quality. However, the device does have one disadvantage: it is a real diva when it comes to installation and requires some well-calculated preliminary consideration regarding the location of the projector and screen. The possible choice of location is limited. This is due to a steep projection angle and a very small zoom range. In addition, there is no optical lens shift, which earns it full marks, because it can certainly solve placement problems and the picture quality is simply unsurpassed. What use is the best projector that can be set up universally if it only projects a pale image? A real buying tip.

5 Stars Incredible!!!
I could cry with joy. Before the Mitsubishi, we had a BenqMP610 and a Panasonic PT-AE 500. Both were good, but nothing more. The LCD got paler and paler and the fly screen got bigger and bigger.

The Mitsubishi was recommended to us and we actually wanted to go for an LCD because of the RBE. But the Mitsubishi has almost none at all. When you pay extreme attention to it, you sometimes notice it, sometimes!!!

Not only that, if you like sharpness and depth in the picture, you can‘t get past this device

A hammer beamer. BUY and BE AMAZED!!!!!!!!!!!
