The hardware properties of the XD8000 manufactured by Mitsubishi include 6500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast value of 2000:1. According to Mitsubishi, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 6500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 702 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 468 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. For your information: Compatible lamps for this device are no longer available in stores.
