A projector from Sanyo is the PLC EF10E, whose LCD model delivers 2300 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SXGA 1280 x 1024 and a contrast of 350:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1000 hours before a replacement is necessary. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 406 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 271 cm. The projector was released in 1999 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
