The PLC XF60 model is a LCD projector from Sanyo, intended for Stationary applications, offering 6500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1300:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. According to Sanyo, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 702 cm can be illuminated with 6500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 468 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Sanyo's current product range. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
