A projector from Sanyo is the PLC XT21, whose LCD model delivers 4000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 1000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1500 hours for this projector's lamp. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 367 cm. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
