Designed for the Short Distance sector, the PLC XL40 model from Sanyo features 1500 ANSI lumens, a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast ratio of 400:1. According to Sanyo, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 128 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 225 cm. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
