The projector PLV 20E by Sanyo utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100:1 at a resolution of VGA 640x480. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Looking at practical performance, up to 195 cm can be illuminated with 500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 130 cm. This model dates back to 1998 and is no longer part of Sanyo's current product range. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
