A projector from Sanyo is the PLC XF45, whose LCD model delivers 10000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 1100:1. According to Sanyo, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 10000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 871 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 581 cm. The projector was released in 2003 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
