The Barco Galaxy NW 7 is a 3D-DLP projector offering 7000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1000 hours before a replacement is necessary. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 850 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 567 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Barco's current product range. For your information: Compatible lamps for this device are no longer available in stores.
