The Prometheus I model is a DLP projector from Barco, intended for Stationary applications, offering 6500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 at UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1300 hours. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1016 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 677 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
