As a projector, the Barco HDF W22 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200, and is additionally specified with 20000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2600:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1000 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 20000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1437 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 958 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
