The 4K860-iS model is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector from Christie, intended for Stationary applications, offering 7200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 13000:1 at UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 862 cm can be illuminated with 7200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 575 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
