The Inspire 4K860-iS model from Christie combines DLP technology in the Stationary sector with 7200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 and a native UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 862 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 575 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since entering the market in 2023, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
