The DS+650 model is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector from Christie, intended for Stationary applications, offering 6500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 7500:1 at SXGA+ 1400 x 1050. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1700 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 702 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 468 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2007 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.

This projector provides an excellent picture and has also overcome the DLP weakness (green and yellow colors) thanks to Color Weel. The projector can be perfectly adjusted with the help of color management. In the performance class (1-chip DLP) with 6500 ANSI lumens and SXGA+ resolution, I can only recommend this device.
