The hardware properties of the MIRAGE DS+10K-M manufactured by Christie include 10500 ANSI lumens, a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution and a contrast value of 10000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 10500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 892 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 595 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
