Based on DLP technology, the Christie DWU15-HS (TAA) device delivers 14000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 4000000:1 as a projector. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 14000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1202 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 801 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since entering the market in 2022, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
