Based on DLP technology, the Christie DS+60 device delivers 6000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 and a contrast of 5000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 450 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
