A projector from Christie is the DWU555-GS, whose DLP model delivers 5400 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 2000000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 747 cm can be illuminated with 5400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 498 cm. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.
