With the D4K25, Christie offers a 3D-DLP projector that features 22500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1500 hours for this projector's lamp. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 1382 cm can be illuminated with 22500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 921 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
