As a projector, the Christie DS+65 combines DLP technology with a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050, and is additionally specified with 6500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 7500:1. According to Christie, the included lamp lasts up to 1700 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 702 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 468 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2006, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
