The LX700 model from Christie combines LCD technology in the Stationary sector with 7000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2200:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 729 cm can be illuminated with 7000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 486 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
