With the EB-760W, Epson offers a 3D-LCD projector that features 4100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 25000000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 54 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 651 cm can be illuminated with 4100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 434 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since the projector supports Miracast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
