Behind the name EMP 700 is a LCD projector by Epson, whose main features include 800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 350:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A look at the light output reveals: The 800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 246 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 164 cm. Since entering the market in 2000, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
