The PowerLite S27 is a LCD projector by Epson USA, whose specifications list 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 5000 hours for this projector's lamp, achieving a lifespan of 6.8 years when used for 2 hours a day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Looking at practical performance, up to 453 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 302 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
